Drivers

Hi,
Newbie, so bear with me!
New computer, Asus with P5KPL-AM EPU motherboard.
Loaded Linux OK.
No sound.
Disk supplied and found Linux drivers in folder.
Copied to desktop and extracted three folders, creating new folders.
Now what?
As well as the original folders (unextracted) and the new extracted folders there are three files:
install.sh
install-sh
and
readme.
Extracted folders also contain install and install.sh files.
How do I run to install these files, please!

to install something from source code package follow the link:

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Software-Building-HOWTO.html

Refer the README and INSTALL files in the extracted folder, here you can find installation instruction for that particular driver/software.
