Driver for Verizon USB 727 air card and Acer Aspire Limpus Lite

I'm very new to Linux and a Newbie to this site.

Purchased an Acer Aspire with Linpus Lite back in Fall 08. Recently, got a Verizon USB 727 air card which allows me to have fast internet at home on 3G network. Verizon tells me that I can't use air card with Linpus Lite yet. That I need driver and Verizon doesn't have it.

Is there a driver that will enable me to use the 727 air card? If so, how do I obtain it and what do I need to know about it?

Any help will be very deeply appreciated.
