Driver for PCTEL 56K modem

Hi,
I have installed Fedora core 4 (kernel 2.6.11-1.369_FC4) and I have a dialup connection for internet. My system has PCTEL 56K MODEM. Please suggest where I could find the driver to install this modem.
Bye,

Last time I checked there was a driver available only for the 2.4.* kernel series. That was about 1.5-2 years ago.

Drivers for PCTel modems under 2.6 kernels became available last fall. There's an update about to be released that will fully support Fedora Core 4 ; I will post here with a link when it becomes available.

The fixed driver is now available - here's the directions:

http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pcte...9-rht-5.tar.gz

Do the following steps:

tax xvzf pctel-0.9.7-9-rht-5.tar.gz
cd pctel-0.9.7-9-rht-5
su
(type your root password)
./setup

In about two minutes you should see "modem activated" and your device will be ready for use.
