driver exists... what's wrong

I am really new to this so please help
My ethernet card isn't working, so I thought it was a driver issue. I looked in /ect/pcmcia, and the right driver is there...
what could be the problem?

Did you install the card AFTER installing Linux? Reinstalling Linux would be the easiest.

Find this file rc.modules
And find your driver

modprobe driver_name

Re: Network Driver

Please post some more info
Look for your driver in /lib/modules/
and then
modprobe <driver name>
