I apologize if this issue already came up, but I really searched hard before posting here...
I have an ASUS EEE 901, running Slackware with a kernel 2.6.32

Also, my glxgears output is really bad!!! :-(

I am assuming everything is ok in the kernel, since I have the intel driver enabled; from .config:

Following my previous post, here is what I found by setting LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose:
