Many people have trouble downloading oracle with wget.
I found I site that explains how to download Oracle using wget but I didn`t tried yet so I don`t know if will work:

As mentioned we must use Lynx.
I don`t know anything about Lynx.
May be you can tell how to I check if Lynx it`s available in my computer, I did a complete installation of Fedora 8 from DVD.
Does Lynx work from the command line? How do I start Lynx?
I don`t know if you`re interested in solving the same question I posted but in that case I hope the site I gave will help.

Thanks Again,

I went into the same problem. I downloaded the Oracle 11g Linux version at my xp box and then I did ftp from xp to my RHEL 4 box using FileZilla. I guess this might help you.

Just FYI (Kryptos) F8 is way out of date and not supported or updated.
Try current F13 if you want to stick with Fedora.
Unfortunately, Fedora is RH's R&D bleeding edge distro and a new version comes out every year.
For stability, try Centos (free version of RHEL); current version is 5.5.
