Question Downloading "RealPlayer10Gold

New user just wiped windows-want to use real player&macromedia flash player but I dont know how things work with my o.s-fidora core2 . so-far I start the download and I get a bulliton
that says the file name"RealPlayer10Gold.bin and Monzilla does not know how to handle this file:
0 Open with defalt application
0 Open with ............... chose
0 Save to disk
[ OK ] [ Cancel ]

I realy dont know how to down load files or what to do with them once I have them but
Im thinking the world would be a better place if I could just listen some web content and set rr.com as a home page and have the propper plug in to use it .can anyone help

open up terminal (command line)

Code:
su -
Enter your root password:

Code:
cd /directory/file
Code:
chmod +x RealPlayer10Gold.bin
or whatever the name of the file is

Code:
./RealPlayer10Gold.bin
or whatever the name of the file

and follow the onscreen prompts.

Good luck,
Tux,

real player:
1. save file to disk
2. open terminal
3. cd to where you saved the file
4. su to root, supply password
5. chmod the .bin file to make it executable (# chmod +x RealPlayer10Gold.bin)
6. execute the file to install the player (# ./RealPlayer10.bin)
7. i don't remember the options, just select yes or default for everything

also listed on the realplayer download page under "Installation Instructions":
http://www.real.com/linux?pcode=rn&s...player_partner

rr.com homepage:
1. open browser
2. go to desired page
3. Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Use Current Page as home page (for firefox, other browsers are similar: edit preferences, tools options, etc.)

You can also get the RPM ("Advanced Installation - Download RPM Package") and then just do "rpm -Uvh RealPlayer10GOLD.rpm".
