Downloading packages for redhat

I am trying to download an application to be able to manage mp3 music files and watch dvd. I cam across Kaffeine.
I am using Linux Red Hat 9.

1. Do you recommend Kaffeine or would MPlayer work too?
2. I found a Kaffeine rpm file for Red Hat 9. But when I tried to install it gave me error messages that I did not have dependent installations. (xine, qt and more).
Is there a particular site where I can find all the dependent rpm files for red hat 9?
Does it matter whether they are specifically for red hat 9 or can I use rpms for any linux distribution?

Why RH9 instead of Fedora Core 5?
And yes you can use yum or apt therefor visit and get known with Repos and the usage of yum and apt.
Cause either yum or apt will solve your dependencies problems.
Then you'll only have to perform
yum -y install xmms*
and everything for mp3 will be installed including the xmms AudioPlayer.
The same with
yum -y install xine*
You also can have a GUI for this therefor
yum install yumex

Installing Yum did not work bit Apt did.
The site you mentioned was very helpful.
Thanks for your help.
