downloading itunes for ipod touch 4th generation
 

I'm trying to download Itunes for my ipod touch 4g. I called apple support and they told me that they don't support lunix mint. Can anyone help me? Thx

Itunes does not ship for any linux, and it does not work under wine. I got my 4g to sync with gtkpod, and is a viable way of doing things, if you want help I would be more than happy to do so!

Could you please share the process to get it working with gtkpod? I'm installing Linux Mint for a curios but technologically impaired friend of mine tomorrow and this information would be invaluabe.

I've gotten myself into a world of hurt tryin to get iTunes10 running under wine. Others have had better luck; WIne-HQ is a good place to start.

First order of business, jailbreak your ipod (no other way of doing things that I know of) you can use jailbreakme.com and do it right from your ipod
