Downloading from browser creates mumble jumble

I'm having a difficult time with something. I'm trying to download enemy territory for linux using mozzila and every time i click on the link all I see is code. it doesn't ask me to save the file. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Presumably, the browser understands it as another file type than it actually is, as is the problem with certain servers. Try using the context menu's "Save as..." or input the link to a download manager, such as KGet.

If this is shown, you can use the right mouse button and then use the "Save Link As" option to save the file correctly.
