Unhappy Downloaded Suse 8.1 ---Help!!!!

Well I downloaded Suse 8.1 from the UK mirror. I did not to the FTP install as I could not figure out how to get it to work.

Now I have a 5.x Gigabyte 8.1 folder on my desktop that I don't know what the heck to do with it.

Did I do something wrong in downloading this entire folder?

I'd like to install this, any clues you can shed to a real newbie?

Sevral things. One would be to burn the contents of the folder to CD. The other would be to make a SuSE boot disk (probably one from the SuSE site) and boot from that. You could probably choose a partition to install from. It might be:
(case matters!)

P.S. I'm not an expert at SuSE, but that's how I'd do it...
