downloaded ISO, burned to cd, will not boot


I downloaded an ISO file for freespire, un zipped it, burned a cd, but it will not install?
any help will sure be appreciated.

You need to "burn" an iso, not make a copy of an unzipped iso. This makes a bootable disk. Have a look at "BurningIsoHowto" on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto

OWuldn't hurt to check the MD5 first to be sure the download was OK. Did it do anything when you booted on it?
