download to server
 

hey.. hi..
i'm the student of university in india.,
i'm using ubuntu and i want to download files directly into any ftp server., and later i'll copy them to my drive..as westudents provided lowandwidth.
i heard that its possible but i culdn't find a way to solve it :(
ex: we have servers created like ftp://10.10.12.9 and so..

gftp is the native Gnome ftp client.

It works very well. If it's not already on your system, it's in the Ubuntu repos.
