Download
I have download mint 19 via torrent.
When i unzip the iso file i get the message: There are some data after the end of the payload data. Why? Have i do some thing wrong? Or can i still use it? |
insufficient information. http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-q...html#beprecise

Why are you unzipping the iso file? An iso file is an image of a cd or dvd and is intended to be burned directly to a blank CD or DVD to create a copy of the original. It is not a compressed file to be unzipped or whatever.

I have unzip it because i put it on an usb stick. And than install it.
|
But it isn't a zipped (compressed) file. If you want to install from a USB stick, go back to your distribution's site and look for their specific instructions on installing from a usb stick rather than a CD or DVD. There are normally special instructions for loading the installation media to a USB stick.

Thanks. Than i gonna try that.

Here is a link to the Mint installation guide, Eric.

If the integrity of that .iso doesn't check out I wouldn't trust it:-
