dosbox always fullscreen

hello,

i'm using dosbox and i have a problem, it's always in fullscreen mode. the alt+enter doesn't work,
and there is the line "fullscreen=false".
that's the first problem.

the second problem is that i have to login as root everytime i need to run dosbox,
because whenever i run it using common user, then it will display error message like this:
"can't init sdl unable to open a console terminal"
please help me anyone,
thanks...

In a terminal window, try
Code:
$ dosbox &
and look at the output after you "exit." You may have some helpful error messages displayed.

If you run dosbox with
Code:
dosbox -conf /path/to/dosbox.conf
And fill in that dosbox.conf file, you can change everything you want (including the key of increasing CPU cycles used). I think there is a default configuration script somewhere in the docs to get your started.
