Dont understand how to install kernel development packages and gcc

Okay guys here is they deal im brand new to linux and im taking classes on it and learning it. So im trying to get the dredded ipw3945 working on fedora core 7. I have found a link to a great tut on it http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/sho...d.php?t=157205but on step 4 it says to "4. Install kernel development packages and gcc compiler"

However when i type in this "yum install kernel-devel gcc"

i get this:
###########################################
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
http://dl.atrpms.net/fc7-1386/atrpms...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution')>
Trying other mirror
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: atrpms
###########################################

I dont have access to internet but wireless on the computer i have linux on, but i do have internet on a windows computer to download files from net if need be. So if someone could please help me figure out how to get past step four in the above link it would be greatly appricated.

Click on the Advanced link, then click Uncheck All, put a tick in Fedora 7. In the search box type what you are looking for. i.e. kernel-source or kernel-devel. Do the same for gcc.
