Don't know how to install RH Enterprise from download

I just purchased RH Enterprise AS 3.0 online at an educational price. The message I received was that I can download the software. I wish to install it on my Dell 7150 PowerEdge Server with 2 Itanium processors and 16GB of RAM. The machine has four 18 GB hard drives. Drive 1 is currently the boot drive for RH 7.2. I would like to make Drive 3 the boot drive for Enterprise 3.0. To what drive shall I download the software? Must I write the software to a CDROM in order to install it? As I do not have a CDROM burner, could I purchase an installation CD? Have you any hints or instructions for installing the new system (other than performing a clean installation)? I tried to find instructions for installation on the RH site, but no luck.

These cd's can boot? If they can boot, just boot the machine with it and follow the onscreen instructions.

Well, the drive doesn't matter much. If this software is an .iso image, you have to burn cd's with it.

As I do not have a CDROM burner, could I purchase an installation CD?

I guess you can.

You have to boot the machine with the installation cds. Once booted, the install program will give you detailed info on what are you doing, and will only write to disk if you explicitly tell it to. So, the process is rather straightforward. When you get to the partition section, just do not tell the partitioner to install or partition in the wrong place. Everything else is a matter of taste.
Post again if you get stuck.

Bruno,

Looks like I need to purchase an installation CD from RH (if they let me do that). Or, I may have to finally buy a CDROM burner for one of my machines. Thanks for the advice.

Peter
