Does NS2 support Channel Coding

Hi,
I am new on NS2 and I was asked to do a project on channel coding with different techniques. FEC, ARQ and Hybrid. My question is: Does NS2 support such coding? I have tried but can't get appropriate answer. If anyone knows how I can simulate such techniques, PLEASE get in touch. Any little information you have may help me big time.
Kind regars

Knudfl,
Thank you very much for a quick reply. I am going through these links to see if I can get something from it. My main concern is that I have my own code (FEC) that I want to simulate using NS2.

I will keep trying.
Kind regard
