Does Linux have a "KaZaa" type application?

Does anyone know what the Open Source Linux version of the Windows file sharing peer to peer app Kazaa is called?
I'm assumming Linux has one, it has almost everything else!

Thanks in advance

Steve

Try looking into giFT which is a backend for several different peer to peer filesharing protocols. There are plugins for Gnutella, FastTrack (KaZaa) and more, plus several graphical and console-based frontends.

You can grab giFT and read up a bit over on the website.

Limewire is NOT a kazaa client, it is for gnutella. Limewire also bites serious ass. go giFT. it's great.

I use Overnet & find it very good. It is similar to edonkey. You can find websites that list software and then click on those links and it starts downloading in overnet e.g. www.sharereactor.com
