Smile Does anyone know of a driver for the Micro Orange iBot IEEE-1394 webcam?

Hello, all! Not only am I new to Linux, this is also my first post on LinuxQuestions.org. Great Web site!

I am trying to find drivers for the Micro Orange iBot IEEE-1394 webcam. The company that manufactures this webcam is, I think, out of business. I have found drivers for this for Windows, but not for Linux. I was wondering if anyone knew of such drivers.

Thank you very much in advance!

Sincerely,

Sammy Spencer

Instead of USB this cam uses FireWire. This cam seems also compatible with the Coriander DC controlling GUI. FireWire drivers are available if compiled in or as modules with your kernel. If it "does not work" please plug in your cam, then post *exact* messages from your syslog.
