does anyone know how to get rise of nations working with wine?

does anyone know how to get rise of nations working with wine? im using xubuntu, and an xfce desktop. can anyone help? i have not the slightest clue what to do. ive tried to right click the installer and run with wine windows emulator but my computer does nothing

Better to open a terminal-emulator (Konsole, Gnome-Terminal, xterm), cd to the directory where your installer (the .exe) is and then run it from there like this:
wine ./installer_for_my_prog.exe
This way you see, what wine has to say about possible problems while installing your prog.

Before all that - wine should be configured a little - use winecfg for that.
...unfortunately it is not all that easy - and a lot but not nearly all programs run quite good with the new "wine"
