does a kernel read-write NTFS exist????
 
Hello again Linux fans:

I´m needing a kernel that read and write NTFS. If any of you know were to download it please tell me.

If there is no kernel please tell me.

I´m in a hurry.

Look for the captive-ntfs program. It uses the windows ntfs driver so it can write safely.

be carefull writing an NTFS under Linux could be potetially dangerous.

writing support in the original kernel driver is considered insecure, or atleast incomplete.

the software pointed to here is actually using the windows dll's (or something in that direction), so that should be perfectly save.
