Hi:

The current version of Deepin is 15.4.
https://www.deepin.org/en/download/

https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=deepin

Running a more the current version should put to bed the things you have going on with things disappearing. I recommend a fresh installation.-;)

You're Welcome.

Did you just install 5.4 or 15.4?

I'm not the best with Networking stuff.

Basically you need to install a driver for your wireless card and reboot.
Unless your network is wired like a dsl line.

Post the output of lspci so someone can find out what chipset and wireless card you have.

You're Welcome.

Run this command to find out what wifi card you have.

Code:

lspci | grep -i network
Since Deepin is based on Debian Unstable you might need the firmware.
I'd help you find the firmware but I need to know what card you have.

It's late and I have to go. I'll check back tomorrow.
