Thumbs up Do I have enough disk space and memory?

I'm new at this:

I want to install Mandrake Linux 9.2 (3 cd's) on the same HD as Windows Xp pro, here's what I have for space:

Hard drive: Capacity 12.71 GB - free space - 5.33 GB - 41%free space
Available physical memory: 100 Mbs

I would like to know if this is enough space and memory to install Mandrake Linux 9.2? Thanks in advance for the help.

yes that is enough ... a full install will be around ~2gigs or so (to my knowledge)

and, i'm not quite sure what you mean by 100Mbs in memory i assume you mean 96MB or 128MB, not sure how your getting 100 (and its MB not Mbs) ...

but also assuming that you have the drive partitioned as one 12 gig partition, you will need a program that can resize your partitions to make that available space usuable for linux ..
