DNS Setup

Please let me know how to setup the DNS entery in linux

Hi samiullah

You can look at this post where similar topic with configuring DNS is given example.

You don't write what distro are you using
neither what DNS server software are you using

so you will have to google about it
this is a Debian example how-to

If you want to configure the DNS client you need to edit the /etc/resolv.conf
In there you have to put the dns server IP.

If need more help you have to give us more information
