DNS Server ??


Hey,

is there a way i can use my linux box as a dns server?
if so, could someone explain it to me. Thankx

go to http://www.isc.org/ (internet software consortium) they make bind, the dns server for linux, to understand how to use it go here:
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/DNS-HOWTO.html

thats what I used, there are a few parts slightly outdated, but it gets the job done, u can read it or do as I did and use it as a reference. (I set up 2 bax's as 56k routers, and now have one routing my dsl, so you can feel free to contact me for help so long as you do not ask me to do it for you)
