Question Dns + Apache + Mem Stick

Hi All,

i was wondering if anyone knows any good sites that can help me understand in setting up DNS and APACHE on Red Hat 9, or some one can just explain it to me.

Also i have a 2gb memory stick (2.5" hdd) and want to use it with my linux box but when i plug it in nothing happens, how can i mount it or locate it on my red hat linux 9 box

I never took my computer in to the shop except to install memory.
I think it's less than $20.00 to install and test.
Can't remember if I did this because I run an IBM
or if it was because of Linux.... (think it's IBM)

Don't have DNS.

What is your problem with apache. It comes with RH9.
As su - root then type which httpd

If not. Install from CD.
Apache is only tricky when you have multiple installs
And yes it is installed in an /sbin by default, so only root can see it ...
