DNLA serving

I've installed GeeXbox on my Aspire one with an external USB hard drive. I want to use it to serve movies to my LG DNLA TV. I recognize the DNLA server on the TV, but can't browse to get to the movies on the external drive. How do I configure this?

Try putting a movie on the internal hard disk for testing. I have a sharp and I had a very similar problem running xbmc, I could see all the folders but they had no content. Turned out that the TV was only capable of mpeg2 playback and tossed out everything that was not compatible. Check your TV manual for supported file formats. Confirm it works and then tackle the external hdd issue.

Good luck
