DMA transfer using streaming method

Hi,

We are using driver to read and write xml file thru pcie card(Bus mastering). While reading and writing ,using pci_map_single() and pci_unmap_single() and then copying to user space using copy_to_user() function(copy_from_user for transferring data from user to kernel space viceversa) resulting in crash. Is this the write method?
Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.
