DivX

Has any one here been able to play DivX files in :Pengy: ? If so, can you post a link to download the :Pengy: ver?

Have you looked into mplayer since it will play just about everything aslong as you have the codecs to decode the file?

If you install just the codecs from mplayers site, XINE can read them just as well. So thats another option for you if you dont like mplayer.

The codecs include DivX. I just watched a divx movie an hour ago in xine using the mplayer codecs.

Read the install docs of the tarball. I believe you just copy the codec files into the /usr/lib/win32 directory.

you don't noramlly need to insatll any codecs to get mplayer working, it's all built in with no crapp ywin32 junk needed. unless of course you've got some really sh*tty divx's made byu a couple of real duffer programs on windows.
