distros applicable to RAID

hi, as i have seen here :

i think a tool is needed to be able to handle RAID for some distros.

aside from RH, what are the other distros that can handle RAID? without downloading additional tools?

If I am not mistaken, any distro can handle RAID. The typical RAID controller creates device names which are passed to the OS. The easy way to test this is to simply boot up from a Live CD, open a terminal, and run "fdisk -l". You should see a list of the virtual drives created by the RAID SW. Run the installer and it should present these as options for the actual installation.
