Distro for Samsung Arm Chromebook XE303?

Hi,

I have a Samsung ARM Chromebook (XE303), I understand that not all Linux distros are compatible with this and that it isn't as simple as using unetbootin etc. and installing Linux off a usb drive.

I'd just like a simple distro which has an office suite etc as I intend to use this mainly for word processing.

My question is, can anyone recommend an up to date distro which will work with this chromebook, and could somebody possibly provide me with link to this as well as some instructions?

I'm a little confused about this.

You are right about that.

Have you checked out crouton?

Basically, you run Ubuntu (or another distro available with the crouton install scripts) in a chroot environment on your chromebook.
