displaying file permissions

 This may seem like a really dull question but I can't seem to find it in my books or in the man:study: pages (although very possible I'm overlooking it) but, if I set a files chattr +i attribute, is there a way to see all the file permissions for that files using 'ls' I can't seem to find a way to show the 'extended' attributes.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

ls -l (long form)

ll works too and is 3 less strokes

You can use the lsattr to show the attributes, ls doesn't show them.
