Display/wireless problems

I just installed Suse Pro 9.1 on my laptop. Its a dual boot w/ XP.
After the install I tried to change the screen resolution from 800x600,
now the screen displays what looks like 3 displays overlapping
each other. I am also having trouble getting my wirelss card to
work, the device seems to be detected when I go to system info
but it does not appear anywhere else.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are having problems with the Video card. Ensure that you have the right module loaded for your hardware. If you have an nVidia card, make sure the output of lsmod has nvidia loaded, not nv, and then make sure that the X configuration file is using the right HSync and VSync values. You can figure that out by looking in your Monitor's manual or probably online.
