Display disappears before login screen

Hi frnds i am new to linux i have installed linux redhat5 on my system.
The OS was installed successfully but during booting when all the services are loaded and when login screen is about to appear, the display disappears and after some time the system shuts down automatically. some times when i keep the mouse shaking before the login screen appearing , the login screen appears and system works fine.
I dont know why i am facing this problem. My system has intel integrated graphics chipset. This problem i am facing on many installations. Please clarify

There are a number of things this might be so please post the complete answers to some questions.
  1. What model is your computer?
  2. Which Redhat version are you installing? And is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
  3. Are any of your BIOS settings changed from default or enabling any features that might not be supported?
  4. When the screen is dark is there any effect from moving the mouse or typing on the keyboard?
  5. Try the 3-key combination Ctrl + Alt + F1
