Doesn't look to me like there is anything wrong. Is there something in particular here you're worried about? By the way, using CODE around output makes it much more readable...

It's kind of difficult to read your posts. First use the code tags. Second, try adding the human readable option to some of those commands.
Code:
du -hs |
In the past, I've had space problems due to the runaway size of the ~/.xsession-errors file due to problems with an early KDE 4.0 install. I discovered this hidden file using konqueror's file size view. Maybe gnome has a similar program showing the size of files graphically.
Also check if your logs are being rotated. (i.e. are they archived periodically. You can delete the old logs in /var/log/ that end in .tar.gz.) Check for very large deleted files that are still open. "lsof +L1". Try using "du -hs" instead to get the total size of directories, including files in subdirectories. Try emptying your web browser's cache and limiting it's maximum size. The contents of your ~/.cache and ~/.thumbnails directories can be deleted safely. |
2 days before there was around 5Gb free now only 3.3
no data added it is increasing slowly , might be some background process building log files , or something like that [utpal@localhost ~]$ du -hs 2.3G . Yeh, I know it's a long shot, especially as I don't really know anything about mdadm so could be talking absolute tosh! Anyway... :twocents: Play Bonny! :hattip: |
I'm going to second jschiwal's advice. Have a look at your log files, see if any are abnormally large or growing.

i had a issue like that but i was programing and i did not realize that it would recopy it self lol though i would look at my logs if i where you
