Yep -- try one or more of hdparm, sdparm, or lshw
Depending on your distro, one or more of them may not be installed yet, but they are common and readily available with a quick google, and possibly from your repository as well.
also,
lspci -v may give you more than the default.
smartctl (part of smartutils? I can't remember the whole package name) is another one, if the unit(s) is SMART capable.
