Disconnecting Kppp

Ok running mandrake 9.1.On dial up using kppp to connect.Well ever since I've been using it it minimizes to the tool bar once connected and I click it to bring it back up on screen and click disconnect to go offline.Well now for some reason once connected it doesn't go to the toolbar so I have no idea how to disconnect it.I tried uninstalling it and did a reinstall of kppp but didn't fix it. Anyone out there know what I need to do.Thank You
