Disabling icons next to cursor in KDE

I'm running Mandriva Linux 2006 with KDE 3.4.2. I want to disable, if possible, the application icon that appears temporarily next to the cursor when you launch programs, but I'm not sure as to how I would go about doing that.

If anyone has an idea, I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

If it is because it last a lon period of time then goto your Control Center > Appearance & Themes > Launch Fedback. Set Busy Cursor value to 1sec. Change from Bouncing Cursor to No Busy Cursor might be fine as well.

Hope this helps
