disabling debugger

greetings

I need to disable the debugger(s) on my suse 9.1 pro box

I installed xoffice so that I can use some window programs which are needed in my business one of them is ugg (Internet explorer) <and yes I have tried other web browsers like firefox>

anyway after I open up ie I then went to my conference website and run a conference program

Now it installs fine (this is done atomically) it then tries to run but then gives me the error

"Debugger detected please close the debugger and restart the program"

the name fo the program is

ICon communicator. I think it is specially made for my company so it may not be on the net

so to recap I need to know how to disable the debugger(s) on my suse 9.1 pro box

thank you

Well, I don't know if it helps you, but you could try:
$ps ax
Look for the debugger name, I don't know its name, but you get something like:

19417 tty s <<debugger name>>

Now, you should type:

$ kill 19417
if 19417 was the number. Sometimes you may need root privilages, and if this won't close the debugger, replace "kill" by "kill -9" instead, which is more agressive.
