Disabling auto hide of sidebar


I dont want my sidebar to auto hide. I need sidebar most frequently so auto hide feature is not comfortable to me

Ok..so set it to not auto-hide.

Since you don't provide ANY details (version/distro of Linux, what desktop GUI you're using, or even WHAT sidebar you're talking about), there's little else we can tell you.

my O/S is ubuntu 11. I right clicked on the sidebar but no menu appears
