Disable /etc/issue.net

Hi all..

Is there any way to disable displaying the contents of /etc/issue.net when login through telnet...

I have tried making the file /etc/issue.net empty but i get a blank line after Escape character is '^]'.

[vinay@localhost webhuddle]$ telnet 172.21.109.60

Connected to 172.21.109.60.

Can anyone help me please .....

Try renaming it to something else and see if it works.

Yes I have tried this...when i do this i get different message, mostly from some other file...I am not getting which file is that...

After removing /etc/issue.net file

Look for/remove

/etc/issue
/etc/issue.net
/etc/motd
/etc/banner
