Angry Disable auto login at startup x


how to disable auto login at start up X?
i didn't login at the first time i started X

Please be more clear on stating your problem. Do you want to disable X during startup or you want to disable auto login in DMs like KDM, GDM, etc? If latter, please state the DM that you are using.

N.B:
DM is Desktop Manager
GDM is GNOME Desktop Manager
KDM is KDE Desktop Manager

I know what you mean, go to Control Center,System, then you see a lot of options kernel image-linux login, personal profile I think. Ok select Linux login, then it going to request the root password if you whant to modify it, so login as root, and in the pair of option the last one of the last corner say something about and user and the autologin selected, you have to deselect that option and then push the apply buttom and when you restart you won,t get any autologin you get request for and user and password.
