Directly accessing network adapter in virtual box?

Hello,

I am unable to configure vpn on linux host OS because of windows vpn server on the other end.

Question:

Is it possible to access eth0 directly on guest operating system in virutalbox on a Centos host? so that I could connect directly from MS guest to MS vpn server using specified dialer software provided by service provider. I have problems configuring pptp on Centos and am really frustrated.

Thanks in advance

Cheers!

Quote:

It works fine on Linux, because Linux provides very powerful bridging software (bridge-utils).
That's what I found from a quick Google search.

https://wiki.blue-it.org/VirtualBox
gives instructions for a Debian host to do exactly what you are looking for. Not sure if you could bend it for Centos though...
