Different time at logfiles and system

Hi,

I have a new server and have changed time to gmt a month before.

Now I am checking the logfiles in /var/log like messages or maillog.

My server-time is:
# date
Tue Dec 8 19:26:19 GMT 2015

But the last entry in maillog is:
Dec 8 20:25:45

There is a different about 1 hour

The hwclock is korrekt
# hwclock
Tue 08 Dec 2015 07:29:27 PM GMT

Has anybody an idaea to get the correct time in the logfiles?

Chris

Have you restarted syslog?
It needs to be restarted in order to see the new time zone.

How did you change the time zone?
Code:
ls -l /usr/share/zoneinfo/GMT /etc/localtime /etc/timezone
?
