different passwords of admin and user?
I have LinuxMint 16 Cinnamon
I thought that it is good to have different passwords. I am a single user.
So I went to "passwords and keys", witch was to enter with giving my password. There I saw my name, witch I clicked, and saw the passwords as points for my capacity as admin and as standard. I wanted only change my password as Standard, not as admin. So I set on "standard" and changed the password. Then I closed. Then I restartet with my new password. Then I testet the access to software-area and got the answer that the old password for admin were wrong, the new also. I obviously had myself changed from admin to user. That's I didn't want. What is to do now?

You could have save yourself some problems if you had seen the link below which explains how sudo works on Ubuntu/Mint.

The link below explains how to reset the root password for your primary user.

If you don't get a prompt (#) but a question asking you for the root password you need to write back.
