Difference of nForce driver & Graphics

Sorry if this seems a dumb question to ask.
AnyWay can someone tell me the difference between say a Graphics(GeForce driver) & a "nForce driver" & can they both be installed on same system & are they both related to your Graphics Card.
I own a "GeForce 6600 gt" Graphics Accelerator Card on a AMD Gigabyte MotherBoard with PCI express.

nForce is for "other" functionality, sometimes including
networking and sound. It's distinct from gForce.

Thanks, So that sounds like it has nothing to do with graphics Card ,Is that Right.?
In other words do you need a Nvidia MotherBoard if using
nForce.?
Where GeForce is for your Graphics Card.

Correct. nForce is for motherboards with an NForce Chipset,
GForce for NVidia graphics chips (card or onboard).

Tink
