difference in user account management tools for debian, red hat and caldera.

hi there. just wondering what the difference is between the user account management
tools using debian (running Simply MEPIS at mo. so I know what KUSER looks like), Red Hat
or Caldera (if such a thing exists). Any replies regarding security in general as well could prove invaluable. cheers in advance.

kuser is not distro-specific. It is distributed as a official KDE app. This means is available in all distros.

Red Hat has his own grafical app for managing users but I can't remember the name.

I have not seen caldera in years, is still alive?

Anyway the standar posix console tools are available on all unix-like systems. These are adduser, addgroup, deluser, chsh .. etc
