difference in RHEL 5 and Red Hat 5 U2 update

Hi i am new to linux, I have unlicensed RHEL 5 and i want to install Red Hat 5 U2 update on it, but as its unlicensed i can't do this.

i can get RHEL 5.2, but does it mean i have Red Hat 5 U2 update.

I am interested in knowing will there be any difference in version which is usually in /etc/release.

Code:

$ cat /etc/*release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3 (Tikanga)

Yep.
