Differant samba share premissions
 
Hi,

I am using my Red Hat Linux 9 box for samba server. I want to connect samba dir with two differant premissions.

Is it possible.

Please help me

RedHat 9 is ancient. If you're really wanting to run something in a current environment, load a current version of Fedora, or any other modern distro. That will make anything you do much easier.

As far as Samba, yes, you can use different permissions for each user/group. The Samba configuration guides outline all of this, and have examples. Since you don't provide details (like different permissions for WHAT? Who? Differentiated how? To what resource(s)??), we can't give a more specific answer. The Samba configuration guides should give you everything you need to know
